Blender taking advantage of the accelerometer of the Nokia N95 as a PC Wiimote
by Your PC Easy on jun.15, 2009, under Blender
With much ingenuity and creativity Marco Rapino has created a Python script that uses the accelerometer data from the Nokia N95's in the Blender game engine.
The application is structured as follows:
* A mobile client, a python script that reads data from accelerometers and sends it via bluetooth to pc
* A server running on your PC and share the data with the BGE via a local UDP connection
* A Blender script that handles the rotation of the cube in the BGE using the N95 accelerometer data
I leave the video to jump and the site to download the code for Blender ![]()
Site of aktasway , to download the source code for your Nokia and blender
